Pastor Carrie,  as she so fondly is called, started her ministry off by ministering with her husband, Dr.  Walton, at Ft. Myer Army Post in Arlington, Virginia.  Their  congregation consisted of members from all branches of the military,  government workers and civilians. Pastor Carrie and Dr. Walton held a
Bible Class for the troops and they both served as Adjunct professors from their seminary.  Several of those troops are Pastor today.
 
In 1987  the Walton's ministered for 3 weeks in Nigeria, West Africa, in Anambra States, where about 1,500 souls heard and came to Christ.  
They saw first hand how and why the work for the Kingdom is so high in Africa today... their child like faith in God's word could be seen even in
the late 1980's. This trip  proved to be a true faith builder for Pastor Carrie.  Many events challenged and tested her faith but she and Dr. Walton continued to trust God and walk in their conviction. Pastor Carrie often said this trip was the beginning of the TRUE BUILDING of her faith and belief in God’s awesome Power.  This trip and those events that took place there forced them to realize they had no one to depend but God and
their faith increased drastically during their time in Africa.

Pastor Carrie have traveled to Brussels, Belgium, Zurich, Switzerland, Cabo San Lucas, the Bahamas, Vancouver Canada, the Caribbean’s, Rosetta, Mexico and London England. Wherever she traveled God always blessed and she always found someone to talk to and pray for and with.

Pastor Carrie contribute all this to the trials she and her family has had to overcome. God jed Pastor Carrie to produce the Healing Scriptures CD 3 years before her husband's diagnosis of cancer.  She often marvel and boast how God, through the Holy Spirit, just bring our life puzzle together...
all things are ALWAYS working for our good.  You see God knew 3 years earlier that her husband would need this CD to feed on to help keep him encouraged and his faith up.  Not only that, Pastor Carrie's daughter, the owner of Child of God Records, the producer of the CD, at birth had been given a blood transfusion and contracted Hepatitis C; during the recording, she contribute her healing to hearing God's Word and receiving it's message.
